When things got a bit messy in 2012, the owner of Quirky Fox decided to take a risk, quit her job and open her own business.
Stupid or brave we're not quite sure, only time will tell.
Sick of seeing the same thing in every shop, Quirky Fox set out to showcase something a little bit different. Starting off with a mixture of independent artists and commercially produced items, the owner found working with independent artists and designers was far more rewarding and challenging. With this in mind Quirky Fox made the slow transition to just supporting independent artists and designers across various disciplines.
Showcasing both established and emerging creative talents, Quirky Fox invites both local and international artists to be part of its carefully curated range. Many of the international artists are exclusively stocked by Quirky Fox, while emerging New Zealand talents are also encouraged to become part of the Quirky Fox family of artists and designers.
With two new artists introduced each month and regular exhibitions we aim to ensure each time you visit Quirky Fox, either in store or online, there will be something different for you to see.
With award winning service and an exciting collection of art, ceramics, jewellery and more, Quirky Fox is the perfect place to find a gift or the finishing touch for your home.
